We hosted in Palermo the partnership meeting of the “Give Climate a Chance” project, which brought together the teams of Share Europe, Ambitia, Equação and Radi Vidi Pats. Meeting in person, around the same table, is where an international partnership does its best work, it was an inspiring session centred on initiative, innovation and environmental literacy.

Together with our partners, we are co creating an educational, game based tool designed to help people understand, track and reduce their daily carbon footprint. The work combines online and paper based games, developed step by step and already tested with young people from different European countries, with one guiding idea: climate action starts from everyday habits.

Through this initiative, we are focusing on:

  • using gamification as a powerful tool to translate complex climate data into engaging daily habits;
  • giving people the practical knowledge they need to make sustainable choices;
  • fostering international cooperation to tackle shared global environmental challenges.

Together, with our partners, we are proving that learning to protect our planet can be both deeply impactful and interactive, and that a game, when it is well designed, can be a serious tool for change.

Strengthening equality, rights and active citizenship across Europe is at the heart of our work, in the framework of the CERV programme, which stands for Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values. By developing innovative non formal educational tools and promoting sustainable lifestyles, our network continues to empower people to take an active, informed role in protecting our environment and building a resilient future.

The project is co-funded by the European Union in the frame of the Erasmus+ programme
