Together with our Swedish partner Malmö Ideella, we met an enthusiastic group of young people who had already taken their first step into European mobility through DiscoverEU, and who were eager to explore their next big horizons.

During the session, Malmö Ideella introduced the vast ecosystem of opportunities available through the Eurodesk network, and showed how young people can receive tailored information and guidance to find their ideal path across Europe.

The meeting was organised at the invitation of the Swedish National Agency for Erasmus+ Youth and Sport and the European Solidarity Corps, and it also brought together Swedish ambassadors from the EuroPeers network. Their presence created a vibrant and valuable space for dialogue, peer to peer inspiration and storytelling.

The interactive presentation sparked curiosity and left the participants with a clear map of the many pathways available across Europe, such as:

  • Erasmus+ youth exchanges and professional training courses
  • long-term and short-term volunteering through the European Solidarity Corps (ESC)
  • international internships, university studies and youth-led civic participation initiatives.

Strengthening equality, rights and active citizenship across Europe is at the heart of our work, in the framework of the CERV programme, which stands for Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values. By providing high quality information, breaking down bureaucratic barriers and encouraging peer networks like EuroPeers, we continue to empower young people and students to discover and seize the opportunities that build a more inclusive and cooperative Europe.
