As the IGNet network, in close collaboration with our Croatian partner Udruga Mladih EU, we recently organised a vibrant Intercultural Night featuring a lively quiz entirely centred on the theme of Italian culture. Once again, play proved to be one of the most effective ways to bring people closer, when learning feels like a game, curiosity does the rest.

The event brought together middle and high school students, turning a cultural exchange into a fun, interactive and educational challenge. Divided into teams, the young participants tested their knowledge through friendly competition and discovered fascinating facts about Italian geography, history and local traditions, often surprising themselves with how much there is to learn about a country beyond its most famous symbols.

Strengthening awareness, intercultural understanding and citizens’ rights across Europe is at the heart of our work, in the framework of the CERV programme (Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values). Getting to know another country’s culture is a first, concrete step towards feeling part of a common European space. By creating open spaces for intercultural dialogue and youth engagement, our network continues to build bridges between young Europeans, helping them develop a stronger sense of belonging to the European community.
