The youth exchange “Climate Chain: empowering young people for environmental sustainability” has started in Riposto, near Catania. We are hosting this project with a clear goal to empower young people as active citizens and promoters of change, combining intercultural learning with creative activism.

Throughout the week, we will work with young leaders and students to:

• explore the link between daily habits, social justice and environmental impact
• foster collaboration on sustainable projects and environmental campaigns
• experiment with innovative languages and “social guerrilla” techniques for climate communication.

Strengthening equality, rights and active citizenship across Europe is at the heart of our work, through the framework of European programmes such as CERV (Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values) and Erasmus+. Our mission remains to foster a more inclusive and rights-based society by encouraging young people to take an active role in global challenges.
