An experience of collaboration and care for shared spaces

The volunteer camp at the Libera Scuola Waldorf has come to an end, marking an experience that brought tangible benefits to the
school while offering an important opportunity for growth to the volunteers involved. The group, composed of participants from different
countries, worked to improve the quality of the school’s spaces while also developing relational and organisational skills essential for
active participation.

The activities focused on the care of outdoor areas and the maintenance of school facilities, with targeted interventions aimed at making
the courtyard more accessible and enhancing several common spaces.

At the same time, working together encouraged collaboration, attentive listening and collective organisation. Living and collaborating with
volunteers from diverse cultural backgrounds turned the camp into a moment of personal and community growth: participants developed
a strong sense of responsibility, built meaningful relationships and experimented with effective forms of cooperation.

This activity was part of the IGNet annual workplan, supported by the CerveProgramme of the European Union, which supports initiatives
aimed at strengthening equality, the protection of fundamental rights and civic participation within the European Union.
